Participation statement

For a participation statement you can use (a version of) the following sentences:

"Lifelines uses multiple channels to keep participants engaged and actively involved. For this purpose, Lifelines has a Participant Advisory Board. The Participant Advisory Board is an independent council consisting of active Lifelines participants that represents the common interests of all participants who participate in the Lifelines research. The council does this by providing solicited and unsolicited advice to management on strategic and practical matters that are important to participants. The council meets at least four times a year. The timing and frequency are determined on a demand-driven basis. If the council or Lifelines have relevant decision-making or policy issues, these will be addressed. Lifelines is responsible for providing relevant background information for these issues (such as reports, reports, overviews of research applications).”
