The primary goal of our study is to characterize the core industrialized and ancestral human gut microbiomes using publicly available global gut 16S rRNA and 18S rRNA data and unpublished data from ancient specimens. The 16S LifeLines-DEEP data set would nicely complement our existing analysis. As this project is mostly analytical, we would only need access to the data for a short time frame (3 months) and expect results to be finalized within the next 6 months to 1 year.
