Medical imaging has developed rapidly during recent decades, however, image analysis software has
remained static, burdening radiologists and physicians. Our research focuses on harnessing the
capabilities of machine and deep learning in cardiovascular imaging by employing AI for ECG analysis,
aiming to learn how an ECG is able to provide information on cardiovascular outcomes. This allows for
automation and extraction of ECG data beyond the scope of manual physician analysis, and thus
subsequently learning from the ingenuity of the AI.
